David did a great audacious job launching huge global learning project in Veeam. We worked for different audiences, but David's expertise and eagerness to help with some of my projects' aspects was outstanding! He is a high-energy guy, and his enthusiasm was contagious.

I have known David Lusk, both personally and professionally, for over five years. Unequivocally, David is a consummate professional, creative thinker, and a tenacious consultant. He is a person many people would refer to as the ‘go-to’ guy for business challenges and obstacles. David will take a business problem, analyze the root cause(s), develop a creative solution, and not stop until the solution is successfully implemented.

David is a wonderful collaborator and colleague to work with. He has a strong global acumen and natural 'teaming' mindset. He very clearly understands how to build and localize global programs. He's very open-mind and receptive to new ideas and ways of doing things., I've enjoyed partnering with him over the years and would welcome the opportunity to do so again.

David is fun to work with, he’s driven, enthused and engaged, and uses his strategic thinking strength to bring new perspectives to any given situation. He researches subjects thoroughly which allows him to highlight gaps in knowledge and capability and put practical and actionable plans in place to address these. He is very outcomes focused.
One of the things I admire about David is his entrepreneurial approach. When he developed his Sales Centre of Excellence strategy he was keen to emphasize the value-add this new approach would bring - one key area being the effective measurement of skills, capability and behavioral change. He possesses deep expertise in adult learning theories and experience which facilitates stakeholder buy-in, and makes knowledge stick. He is always providing thought leadership to his peers and colleagues. He does an excellent job at getting teams to the next level of performance.

I’ve worked with David for over 4 years in the learning and development arena. What I appreciate about David is his thoughtful approach to problem solving. He brings a holistic approach to anything he tackles and always takes a step back to look at the big picture. He also balances the long term strategic view with short term action. For example, when I originally hired David as a consultant, the original role was to deliver sales training to the incumbent sales population to change behavior. Not only did he deliver these programs but he reached out to the sales managers afterwards to support them in the sustainment of the behavior. He did this not because he was directed to, but because it was the right thing to do.
He also challenges you to think and test “the way we’ve always done it” theories. If you want a “yes” person to carry out directives without questioning the underlying reasons, David is not your guy.

David was instrumental in my getting involved with ATD Greater Atlanta. His guidance into the world of social media was invaluable. Really enjoyed working with him and learning how to market our group.

David Lusk served on my 2015 executive board as VP of Marketing and Communications. His dedication to the chapter and our profession was clearly shown by the various initiatives that he worked to put in place throughout the year. For example, David invested time in building a team to improve our social media strategy and increase engagement with our members through effective communication. I am always impressed with David's drive and commitment to the chapter, and am honored to have served with him this year.
